I’m Savyra Meyer, an illustrator mainly, but also involved in fine art, writing, graphic and web-design, photography, animation (stop-motion and 2D for now); conceptualisation of ideas for various purposes, and generally having fun with my buddies when I can be torn away from my beloved computer.
Currently (July 2011) I’m engrossed in a large painting of a leopard and producing paper sculpture wedding invitations. In my free time there are two or three projects occupying my mind: a 2D animation using Toonboom, and learning 3D animation. Very slowly.
This will also be the year I finally get to study photography seriously with Erika van Breda’s photography courses and maybe I’ll even make myself understood in French and learn to play the violin. These two activities are not connected, they’re just items two and three on my bucket list. There are many more items but I don’t want to tire myself out just thinking about it.
So much to do… so there’s my hammock time as well, otherwise my Humble Hedonist blog will never get written. Fun must be had, or as my friend calls it – ‘pink time’. I call it creative input time. The well must be filled, ‘not seau?’*
*That’s French for ‘N’cest pas?’

Thank you Dave! That’s certainly a vision to work towards!

Thank you so much. Would be interested to know which specific article you’re referring to.
I really liked your article. You should write more about that topic.
Hello – thanks so much for your comment. Which article are you referring to? Have been rather quiet, this sort of encouragement I really appreciate.
